after the storm

After the storm

Comes silence

. . .

Sometimes the silence

Is worse than the storm

  1. You write wonderful poetry – and you’re just in 8th grade? (My poetry in 8th grade was terrible! 🙂 ) Thanks for reading on my 1960’s blog.
(My dad was from Oklahoma… we used to visit every summer and I loved it there!)

      1. All I can say is, good for you and keep on writing! That’s how I made it through my teens – the poetry, diaries, journals. (Good thing we didn’t have facebook, or cell phones – and there was no such word as texting – which is a good thing, or I probably would’ve spent precious hours doing that instead! 🙂 ) And the bonus with writing at a young age is that you’ll carry that passion with you for the rest of your life – which is a GOOD thing!

Say hi to the Oklahoma sky for me! 🙂

      2. Well, actually, I was BORN in OK, but I moved to CA when I was one. I’ve only really visited OK once. And it’s definitely an amazing place. I will say hi if I visit it again. 🙂 Thanks again!
